
Things that make me happy Part 1
Earlier I had posted something about a book about Happiness. In the spirit of that book and, well, actually being happy I've decided to dig deep and list a short list of things that make my heart go "thump thump."
1) Randomly hearing "Unwritten" or "I'm Yours" on the radio
2) Diet Coke in a can but sometimes Diet Coke in a cup with a lemon in it for KICK
3) Fancy perfect little retail bags that look like wrapped up little presents
4) Reduced Price Nordstroms jewelry from the Juniors section
5) Cute Songs like "Sweet Pea" by Amos Lee or "Love Song" by Sara Bareilles
6) Nordstrom's Bistro (Please don't get it confused with Cafe :P)
7) Spending hours at Coffee shops in front of my computer sipping a nonfat no whip mocha in a fancy tall cup
8) Colored walls (no matter what color! It could be puke green I think it still adds so much personality to a room!)
9) Airline flights! Don't laugh, but it makes me feel important knowing I'm heading somewhere for a purpose.
10) My phone says "DROOID" when I get a text
11) Lunch in great weather on a patio
12) Sushi Boats! instant gratification is THE BEST!
To Be continued... happiness is always a continuation... that's the game plan anyway ;)

FitBit
It's March 25 and I've reached a point in my life where I'm EXTREMELY ready to be fit! No... correction... HOT!
I hate to admit that simply because it seems really vain, however, I don't think anyone in the world would be oppose to looking great. Would they? Maybe I'm wrong (or maybe I'm not! haha!)
So as I mentioned it is March 25, 2010 and I'm ready to reach my goal.
Here it is!
Goal:
Weight: 115 lbs Current: 130 lbs (give or take a few Godiva chocolates)
Abs: I'm not hoping to be RIPPED. I just want them showing for once in my life. Current: not even worth mentioning :P
Arms: Like Serena Williams (okay, maybe not THAT awesome but close) Current: It's getting there. Better than before
Legs: SLIM/TONE THOSE SUCKERS DOWN! Current: Not bad, strong that's for sure but big... and that needs to go away!
I have my FitBit ready to go. My cleanse diet ready to go.
and my first meal!
Breakfast: Strawberries, yogurt, water and maybe a few carrots (coffee for sure)
Snack: Apple/100 calorie bar
Lunch: Not super nutritious but low calorie frozen meal
Snack: TBE??? (To Be Eaten)
Dinner: Spinach, vinaigrette, Chicken
Add 5 billion gallons of water and end by sleeping early and getting at least 8 hours.
Gym activities will include:
-Elliptical 30-45 minutes 5 days a week
-Tons of strength training 4 days a week
Sports to consider:
-Yoga/Palates
-Fencing again
-Tennis

Who I am
Every now an again I lie in bed and think "Who have I become?"
and I think about it some more and I'm sometimes sadden by my answer. However last night was different, last night I went to bed with a smile on my face with the realizing that the Joanna I see in the mirror, the Joanna that I'm constantly disappointed in, is NOT the real Joanna. She's just a silly, naive and selfish young Joanna....
...who's still growing and learning.
I refuse to let myself believe that the real Joanna is one that cries over boys (yes, BOYS) is one that settles for a sales job and one that isn't in school.
The REAL Joanna values everyone for what they're worth, the REAL Joanna aspires to take care of her family in every way possible, the REAL Joanna calls the ideal getaway a 3rd world country, the REAL Joanna has a fire in her like no other.
That is the REAL Joanna and yesterday I was able to sleep soundly because I was able to realize my worth. and tomorrow may be dismal and gray but the day after will be spectacular, because the real Joanna says so.
So. moving forward. I will try to sleep soundly. and most definitely stop using myself in 3rd person. (haha!)

The good moments
I only speak of the good moments between us and not them because their good moments will continue. They have a whole lifetime of good moments and adventures. and all I have is this, what I have now, which is barely anything. So I'm going to relish in it. I'm going to enjoy every second of him, even though I shouldn't, and allow myself to love him to the utmost of my capability because one day very soon I'll have to say goodbye and that will be the end of us and everything we were about, whatever it is.
Evaluating
There's such a big part of me that's really trying to reevaluate my life.
A big part of who I am is very goal oriented and self motivated but at the same time I can't help but ask myself all the time "what's the point?!?!?!"
