A big concept I had to understand about Kenya was that cleanliness was near impossible, ESPECIALLY factoring having to play with kids the whole day. It was a hard concept to grasp for me but the day I walked through a 6 feet heap of garbage laughing and enjoying the company of 10 not-so-clean Kenyan children was the day I unlocked a piece of my heart. I learned that "dirt don't hurt" and that "3rd world countries were SO my thing."
So ever since coming back from Kenya 2009 I've had my heart set on going to Central America! Let's hope if I keep my eye on the prize I'll achieve this goal in 2010. Expect an application
